Currently a Product Designer at Netflix.

As an educator, I have given lectures on design and innovation at San Jose State University, University of Louisiana Lafayette, and ArtCenter College of Design. My recent research and work has been centered around Decolonizing Design. Partnering with non-profit organizations and higher learning institutions to develop a series of lectures decentering design from its exclusive and eurocentric ideology. I am working to establish a more robust and inclusive design canon, pedagogy and practice that celebrates the contributions of African, Indigenous and Native cultures.  

I am an advocate of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. My purpose and goals have always been to democratize power by empowering people and inspiring them to be great at whatever they choose to do.
