Speaker's Profile

Dr. Tim Mullen is a computational and cognitive neuroscientist, educator, and entrepreneur. For over 15 years he has worked at the intersection of advanced neurotech and machine learning in collaboration with academic, governmental (health, edutech, space, defense), and industry organizations. He is founding CEO and Research Director at Intheon, pioneering the first cloud middleware platform for interfacing with the brain. He also finds creative expression as a new media artist, creating installations and performances that explore the coupling between mental and physical worlds using real-time biosensor data, algorithms, and audiovisual media. He is a member of the Board of Directors at Mainly Mozart and founding Director of the annual Mozart & the Mind Festival.
